I Want To Plan World Tour With Friends

A World Tour With Friends: Traveling The Globe Together

Friends aren’t just someone to pass the time with — they’re a constant source of support, understanding, and laughter. When you have friends from all around the world, life gets even more exciting. You get to explore the world and all its wonders together, and that’s an incredible adventure in and of itself.

We all have reasons for traveling — some want to see the world, some want to discover themselves, and others simply want to meet new people and broaden their social circle. The only thing that matters is that you’re doing what excites you and leaving the rest up to chance.

However, with so many options and destinations, making that decision can be overwhelming. We get it — after all, we’re travelers too.

We’ve decided to help you narrow down your options by sharing our favorite travel experiences with friends.

Ireland

Ireland has a way of making you feel at home, even if you’ve never been there before. The landscape is filled with rolling hills and lush green grass, and the locals are friendly and welcoming. There’s something special about Ireland that makes it hard to resist coming back again and again.

Some of the best things to do in Ireland include visiting the Cliffs of Moher, touring a pub, walking through Dublin’s cobblestone streets, taking a boat out on Lough Corrib, or enjoying a pint in one of Dublin’s many pubs.

The food in Ireland is divine, so don’t pass on your chance to indulge in some Guinness and Irish stew while you are there!

New Zealand

One of our favorite countries to visit, New Zealand offers a lot in natural beauty, adventure and culture. Take a hike up the iconic Mount Cook or go on a scenic helicopter tour over the beautiful landscapes. If you want to experience true Kiwi culture, head out into Aoraki Mount Cook National Park and see firsthand how unique their people are.

Thailand

Thailand has been a favorite of ours since the first time we visited. The people are warm and accepting, the food is incredible, and the scenery is spectacular. There’s something for everyone here: beaches, mountains, temples, history, and even elephant riding!

It’s also known as the land of smiles. That’s because it means happiness in Thai.

We’ve visited many times, but we always leave with new memories in our hearts and a sense of awe for this incredibly beautiful country.

 Costa Rica

Costa Rica is a country full of beauty and culture. You can explore the beaches, reefs, rainforests, and volcanoes — which are all amazing in their own right — or venture into the many surf towns scattered throughout the country. Thanks to its diversity of people and regions, there’s also an incredibly rich culture to experience. From Tamarindo to Irazu, San Jose to Manuel Antonio, Costa Rica has something for everyone.

It’s also home to some incredible wildlife: there are more than 400 different species of birds here and animals like sloths and sea turtles that roam free. There are also plenty of unique places for you to explore with your friends: check out La Fortuna Waterfall Park or spend a night in one of the many hotels in Manuel Antonio.

 Mexico

Mexico is an amazing country, but not all people are friendly. There are also quite a few hazards to be wary of, such as crime. But Mexico is a beautiful country with jaw-dropping landscapes and rich culture.

You can visit Oaxaca, a largely indigenous town in southern Mexico if you want to see the culture firsthand. You’ll get to experience firsthand the different cultures of this town, from the local market where locals sell their handmade crafts to food from the street vendors — it’s a great way to experience Mexican culture firsthand. Another option would be visiting Teotihuacan, home of the ancient Aztec capital and where you can walk amongst ancient ruins and take in sweeping views of the valley below.

If you want to see what modern-day Mexico offers, you can visit Mexico City or head down south for some beach fun in Acapulco.

 Croatia

Croatia is a small country in the Balkan Peninsula, bordered by Hungary and Serbia to the north, Slovenia to the northwest, and Montenegro to the west. The country covers 32,879 square kilometers with 4.2 million people in 2016. Croatia was an independent nation from 1991 until 1993, when it peacefully dissolved into its constituent republics: Croatia-Slovenia, Croatia-Montenegro, and Croatia-Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The country is well known for its amazing natural beauty, such as Dinaric Alps and Plitvice Lakes National Park. It also has some of Europe’s most beautiful islands like Hvar and Krk, with plenty of things to do like surfing, diving, and sailing. When you visit this beautiful place in Europe, you can enjoy outdoor activities while exploring the stunning scenery surrounding you — it has something for everyone.

 Sri Lanka

Sri Lanka is one of our favorite destinations, and we find that it’s a great spot for friends to visit. It has so much diversity and is full of amazing attractions. We visited Sri Lanka during the dry season in May, which created beautiful sunshine and warm weather perfect for outdoor activities like hiking and rafting. The journey around the island was truly remarkable, as you can only see what lies before you as far as the eye can see. For a more personal experience, we recommend staying in Kandy or Nuwara Eliya on the country’s periphery. These villages are small-time but still have a lot of culture and charm. There are plenty of authentic local experiences if you want to immerse yourself into Sri Lankan culture or take an adventure through nature with one another.

The natural beauty never fails to impress us when visiting Sri Lankan locations. We suggest taking in all nature offers with friends at 4K Forest Rest House — a luxurious eco-friendly resort nestled deep in the lush rainforest with views of waterfalls cascading into pristine pools below. The forest location also provides ample opportunities for hiking, rafting, and other outdoor activities that would otherwise be inaccessible without a guide.

 Pakistan

The ancient Silk Road was originally a trade route connecting China and Europe. It follows the path of least resistance, so you don’t have to go out of your way to visit different parts of the world. In Pakistan, we went on a trek through the Karakoram Mountains, one of the most scenic drives you can find. The views are spectacular, and the people are friendly and welcoming. We spent time in Islamabad and saw amazing sights like the mausoleum of assassinated Pakistani leader Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto and an imposing building called Zero Point, which houses Pakistan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

In Lahore, we got a tour from our hotel concierge, who showed us around some of the best areas for shopping and dining with our friends. We had dinner at an ancient Turkish restaurant operating for over 220 years. If you’re looking for a relaxing vacation with friends in Pakistan, this is the place to go!

 Bhutan

– The Land of Happiness

Bhutan is a country so small that you can walk across its entire country and never leave the same mountain. It’s a land of temples and terraced rice fields with more than 700,000 people. The country’s main language, Dzongkha, is similar to Tibetan and Nepalese.

Most travelers love Bhutan’s beauty of its landscape and culture. Every traveler seems to have their favorite spot in the nation, but no matter where you go or what you do there, one thing stays constant: the serenity and happiness that pervades Bhutanese society.

On our trip to Bhutan, we got to visit Thimphu (the capital city), Paro (a UNESCO World Heritage Site), Punakha Dzong (an impressive stately dzong), and much more. We also hike through valleys one day and watch the sunrise from atop a cliff on another day.

Even though we only had ten days in the country, our experience was incredible. We fell in love with Bhutan without knowing anything about it before coming there — it was a truly unforgettable trip!
